Getting messages from readers is honestly one of the better parts of running this blog.
Some of the most useful things I’ve learned about Korean skincare came from someone emailing me about a product I’d never tried, a skin type I hadn’t considered, or a routine combination that worked better than anything I’d written about. So if you have something to say — a question, a suggestion, a disagreement, a product you think I should test — I genuinely want to hear it.
Here’s how to reach me and what to expect when you do.
General Questions and Reader Mail
If you have a question about a product review, want my opinion on a specific Korean skincare brand, or just want to know where to start with building a routine for your skin type — email me at:
contact@blogenxia.com
I read every message personally. I don’t have a team, a VA, or an auto-responder sorting through things on my behalf. It’s just me. Which means replies sometimes take a few days depending on what’s going on — but I do reply to every genuine message.
If your question is something that would genuinely help other readers too, I may turn the answer into a full article and let you know when it’s published.
Privacy and Data Questions
If your message is specifically about your personal data, a data deletion request, or anything covered in the Privacy Policy — please use the dedicated privacy email instead:
privacy@blogenxia.com
This keeps data-related requests separate from general mail and means I can handle them properly and promptly.
Before You Email — Check These First
A lot of questions I receive are already answered in detail somewhere on the site. If you’re looking for a quick answer, these are the most useful starting points:
New to Korean skincare and don’t know where to begin? The Korean Skincare Routine for Beginners covers everything from scratch — four essential steps, product recommendations, and the mistakes that cost me weeks of skin recovery early on.
Trying to figure out which products are actually worth buying? The COSRX Skincare Review and Laneige Skincare Review are two of the most detailed breakdowns on the site — honest results after months of personal testing, not one-week impressions.
Have specific skin concerns like acne, sensitivity, or dark spots? There are dedicated guides for each — Korean Skincare for Acne Prone Skin, Korean Skincare for Sensitive Skin, and Korean Skincare for Dark Spots go into real depth on products and routines that work for each concern.
Want to understand what ingredients actually do? The Korean Skincare Ingredients Explained guide breaks down snail mucin, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, ceramides, and everything else you keep seeing on product labels — in plain language, no chemistry degree required.
If you’ve looked and still can’t find what you need — email me. That’s what the address is there for.
What I Can and Cannot Help With
I want to be upfront about this so nobody wastes time waiting for an answer I’m not the right person to give.
We can help with:
- Product recommendations based on skin type and concerns
- Questions about specific Korean skincare brands or ingredients
- Routine building advice for beginners and intermediate users
- Feedback on whether a product I’ve reviewed is right for your situation
- General questions about anything published on this site
We cannot help with:
- Medical diagnoses or treatment recommendations — if you have a persistent skin condition, an unusual reaction, or anything that concerns you medically, please see a qualified dermatologist. A blog is genuinely not the right resource for that and I’d be doing you a disservice by pretending otherwise
- Guaranteed product outcomes — I can tell you what worked for my skin and why, but I cannot predict how a specific product will work for yours
- Requests to remove honest negative opinions from reviews — if a product didn’t work well I write that, and those assessments stay in the articles
Business and Collaboration Enquiries
If you represent a brand and want to discuss a potential collaboration, product review consideration, or anything business-related — you’re welcome to reach out to the same address:
contact@blogenxia.com
A few things worth knowing upfront: I don’t publish paid positive reviews. If I test a product and it doesn’t work well I say so — that applies to products sent for review consideration exactly as it applies to things I bought myself. Any collaboration that involves financial compensation or complimentary products will be disclosed clearly to readers. If that approach works for you, I’m happy to have the conversation.
Response Times
I aim to reply within two to four business days for most messages. During busy periods it might be slightly longer. If you haven’t heard back within a week, a follow-up is completely reasonable — occasionally things end up in spam filters and I’d rather you nudge me than assume I ignored you.
One Last Thing
If you’ve been reading Blogenxia for a while and something here genuinely helped you — a routine that improved your skin, a product recommendation that saved you money, a guide that made something click that had been confusing — I’d really like to know. Those messages are the main reason this blog exists and they’re always good to receive.
