Disclaimer for Blogenxia.com

The Short Version

I test products on my own skin, write honestly about what happens, and link to Amazon when something is worth buying. I earn a small commission on those links. Nothing on this site is medical advice. That’s the whole thing — but read the full version below because the details matter.

Affiliate Disclosure

Blogenxia.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. This is an affiliate advertising program that lets independent bloggers like me earn a small commission when readers purchase products through links on this site — at absolutely zero extra cost to you. The price you pay on Amazon is identical whether you use my link or search for the product yourself.

I want to be upfront about this because I think you deserve to know how this blog stays running.

That said — the affiliate relationship does not influence what I write. Ever. If a product broke me out, dried my skin, or just didn’t live up to its price tag, I write that. The COSRX exfoliating toner gave me ten days of breakouts when I introduced it wrong — that’s in my review. The Laneige cleansers are overpriced for what they do — that’s in my review too. Honest opinions that help you make good decisions are more valuable to me than a commission on a product I can’t genuinely recommend.

Some posts may also contain links to other websites or resources that are not part of the Amazon Associates Program. These are included because I found them genuinely useful — not because of any financial arrangement.

Not Medical or Dermatological Advice

Everything written on Blogenxia is based on personal experience, independent research, and honest opinion. I am not a dermatologist, licensed aesthetician, doctor, or any kind of certified skincare professional.

Nothing on this site should be treated as medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for professional dermatological consultation.

Skincare is personal. What worked beautifully on my skin after six weeks of testing might do nothing for yours — or in rare cases might cause a reaction. Skin types, allergies, sensitivities, and underlying conditions vary enormously from person to person. Before introducing any new skincare product — especially if you have reactive, sensitive, or condition-affected skin — do a patch test and consult a qualified dermatologist if you have any doubts.

If you are experiencing a persistent skin condition, unusual reactions, or anything that looks like it needs professional attention, please see a real doctor. A blog, however thorough, is not the right resource for that.

Results May Vary

I write about results I personally experienced after weeks or months of consistent product use. I try to be specific about timelines, application methods, and skin type context because I know that vague “it worked for me” reviews are not actually useful.

But my results are still just my results.

Your skin is different from mine. Your water quality, climate, diet, stress levels, hormones, and the other products in your routine all interact with anything new you introduce. The same product used the same way by two different people on two different skin types can produce meaningfully different outcomes. I try to flag this in individual reviews where I know it to be particularly relevant — but the general principle applies to everything on this site.

Product Testing and Review Independence

Every product reviewed on this blog was either purchased by me personally or tested over a long enough period to form a genuine opinion. I do not publish one-week first impressions dressed up as full reviews. I do not accept payment from brands in exchange for coverage or positive reviews.

If that ever changes — if I ever receive a complimentary product, a press sample, or any form of compensation that could influence coverage — I will disclose it clearly at the top of the relevant article. You will always know.

At the time of writing, Blogenxia has no brand partnerships, no sponsored content arrangements, and no relationships with skincare companies that influence what gets published here.

Pricing and Product Availability

Product prices mentioned on this site reflect what was accurate at the time of writing. Amazon prices change frequently — sometimes daily — and what I list as “around $25” may be slightly higher or lower when you check. Always verify the current price directly on Amazon before making a purchase decision.

Similarly, products occasionally go out of stock, get discontinued, or change their formulas after I’ve reviewed them. I update articles when I become aware of significant changes but I cannot guarantee that every price or availability detail across the site is current at the exact moment you read it.

External Links

Some articles link out to external websites — brand pages, ingredient databases, dermatology resources, and other references. These links are included because I found them useful or credible at the time of writing.

Blogenxia has no control over the content or privacy practices of external websites. Linking to a resource is not an endorsement of everything on that site. If you follow an external link, that site’s own terms and privacy policy apply from that point forward.
